(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 25 - A huge Venus that dominates the square and if viewed from the front, appears among the trees, with one hand that collects the peplos on the breast for protection.

Every woman is a Venus, and she must love herself first of all is the message of the ecomurales of the Peruvian street artist Carlos Atoche - his greatest work in the capital - which was unveiled in Largo delle Sette Chiese, in the heart of the Garbatella district.

It is dedicated to the awareness of one's own body and self-care, and is above all an invitation to prevention for which Susan G.

Komen Italia has been working tirelessly for over twenty years.

The #AMORETCURA artwork is majestic and intimate at the same time. Permillenni Aphrodite was represented half covered by a mantle, with a solemn and sacred expression that enhances the strong sense of dignity of the goddess: here the drapery left the breast uncovered and is supported by the hand of Venus, in a gesture of protection and self-care.

Atoche revisits and updates classical art by interpreting the figure of Venus in a visionary way, giving it a vitality proper to South American art. The figure is powerful, softened by the pictorial style, with predominant colors in the magenta range.

"With this image I tried to restore, in a poetic way, the feminine power and the capacity of the woman universe to face all the difficulties, simple or complex that exist" - says Carlos Atoche - "I wanted to represent self-care but also energy of the woman who resists in a patriarchal and hostile world. So through the centuries, today as yesterday, every "Venus" has conquered denied rights and spaces, fighting not only to free herself from the male-dominated rules imposed by the system, but above all to find a balance within her own inner world ".

The project was conceived and entirely supported by McArthurGlen - Castel Romano Designer Outlet and curated by Yourban2030 - a non-profit at the forefront of social and eco-sustainable street art - with the patronage of the Municipality of Rome VIII - Rome Capital.

To concretely support the initiative, today in Largo delle SetteChiese there is the Caravan of Prevention of Komen Italia which, thanks to the collaboration of specialized health personnel, will offer free visits and diagnostic tests for the prevention of egynecological breast tumors as well as nutritional consultations throughout the day. for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. From tomorrow to Friday the caravan will move to Castel Romano Designer Outlet in the traditional appointment with prevention offered to customers and also to all our women who work at our outlet.

The ecological value of the mural should not be underestimated. As in all its artistic projects, Yourban 2030 has exclusively used Airlite paints, a technology that is applied like a paint on any surface, transforming each wall into a natural purifier, reducing nitrogen oxides, the main cause of death deriving from air pollution.

An ecomurales of 100 square meters, like the one created here in Largodelle Sette Chiese, eliminates the smog of about 21 "Euro 6" petrol cars per day. (HANDLE).
