A fixed-term employment contract carries risks - for the employer.
The following behavior leads to the fact that the fixed-term employment relationship becomes a permanent one.
Fixed-term employment contracts are now common practice in companies.
Usually it is a time span of one or two years.
If the deadline has expired, the employment relationship ends without the need for notice.
But there are exceptions.
In some cases, the temporary contract becomes a permanent contract.
For example, if the employee continues to come to the company even after the employment relationship has ended.

This is stated in Section 15 (5) of the Part-Time and Temporary Employment Act (TzBfG).
If the employer does not send the employee home immediately in this case, he extends his employment contract

According to TzBfG, the contract is extended if the employer does not "object immediately".
