(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 26 - George Floyd's sister, Bridgett, yesterday boycotted the meeting in the White House with Joe Biden accusing the US president of not having kept the promise of police reform. The BBC reports. The law is blocked at the Congress and just yesterday Biden hoped it would arrive soon on his desk.
"He didn't sign that reform, he didn't keep the promise," attacked Bridgett who preferred to attend the ceremony in Minneapolis in memory of her brother George, killed by agent Derek Chauvin a year ago. "Get your people back," he urged, addressing the US president. (HANDLE).
