Ailén Actis studied Law at the National University of Lomas de Zamora and had two children. The Covid caused him a fulminant bilateral pneumonia.

Ailén Actis, a law student and teacher from Lanús, was another of the young and unexpected victims of the coronavirus.

After 20 days in the hospital, the 33-year-old mother of two children died of bilateral pneumonia. 

Days before contracting the disease, he was studying various subjects at the National University of Lomas de Zamora while remotely teaching his students at the Club Atlético Lanús Educational Complex.

According to university authorities, he worked until the day before to isolate himself.

"He suffered the coronavirus like everyone else, with a lot of annoyance," they say.

Her husband kept his relatives up to date, and was in charge of informing that, after seeing no improvement, she had to be hospitalized.

, she was admitted to the IOMA Clinic in Temperley since April 30.

"The situation was very complex, the husband had signed an authorization so that, if necessary, a tracheostomy was performed. But his heart did not resist," they detail from the Lanús Club school.

Ailén passed away on May 19.

Being a teacher, Ailén was waiting her turn for the vaccine she had not yet received.

His case was known less than a week after the death of Sol Casella, 23, who was also studying at the National University of Lomas de Zamora (UNLZ) - although without relationship or contact with each other. 

As in the case of Ailén, Sol also did not have previous pathologies or indicators that could predict what was going to happen.

Sol Casella would have turned 24 on Sunday May 24.

After 23 days hospitalized at the Sagrado Corazón de Balvanera sanatorium, the student and journalist from Lomas de Zamora (she worked at the AUNO agency of the UNLZ, among other media) died on May 14 due to a cardiorespiratory arrest, a consequence of pneumonia that led to pulmonary fibrosis.

His organs were healthy before suffering from the disease

, and his relatives assure that he was an "extremely responsible person at the time of complying with the protocols."
