After years of absence, the spotlight is on Lindsay Lohan again.
The 35-year-old actress will star in a Netflix romantic comedy.
Production will begin in November, writes Variety, also noting that the release is not scheduled for next Christmas.
According to the plot, Lohan will play the role of a rich and spoiled heiress who loses her memory during a skiing accident and finds herself being cared for by a chalet owner and her premature daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.
The rest of the cast has not yet been announced.
After starting modeling at just three years old, Lohan made her film debut at 11 in the film 'Parent Trap' (1998). After several legal troubles she gradually withdrew from acting and moved abroad living between Dubai and Europe. Shortly before the pandemic, he had noted in an interview with CNN a desire to return to the United States.
