(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 27 - With the increase to 65,000 euros in the revenue threshold for access to the flat-rate regime for VAT numbers, the Mef recorded in 2019 "about 707,000 new members to the regime, for a total number of members equal to1 .563.000 ". Since, explains the Mef, "the incomes of these taxpayers" enjoy a substitute tax of 15% (5% in the first 5 years of activity) "thanks to the transition from personal income tax to the flat rate", the income from self-employment has grown very significantly (+25, 4%) and average business income (+ 6.8%). On the other hand, the average values of investment income remained substantially stable (+ 0.8%). (HANDLE).
