Johnson denies allegations, 'always determined to save lives'

(ANSA) - LONDON, MAY 27 - The British Prime Minister, BorisJohnson, has rejected the serious accusations made against him yesterday by his former adviser Dominic Cummings on the management of the pandemic, claiming that he had done everything possible to save lives. The head of government, who visited a hospital in Essex this morning, said he had to make "several incredibly difficult decisions" during the crisis, stressing that "at each stage what moved us was the determination to protect lives."
