Braunschweig - The Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety published a product warning on Thursday (May 27).
The manufacturer Erhardt GmbH & Co. KG recalls the Demeter table horseradish in a 125 gram glass “Erhardt spicy · hot · piquant”.
Affected is batch 004 with article number 10005/4027468000010 and best before date 15.09.2021, it is said.
The Federal Office points out that consumers should pay particular attention to batch 004.
However, other batches with the same best-before date can be consumed without hesitation.
The manufacturer cites the risk that the horseradish could contain sharp-edged foreign bodies as the reason for the recall.
Erhardt did not initially disclose what exactly it might be.

Affected customers can return the table horseradish to the place where they bought it.
This is also possible without presenting a receipt.
Anyone who surrenders the product will receive the full purchase price refunded.
