PRISA Media takes another step in its digital transformation and in the renewal of its radio division. The company has announced that it is renewing the management team of Cadena SER, betting on the promotion of internal talent, and promoting a pioneering change: it creates the transversal platform PRISA Audio, which will unify all non-linear audio content (

The new structure delves into the changes made in the group in February by creating PRISA Media, which encompasses all the group's media under the same unit, with a firm commitment to the convergence of resources around a structure of transversal platforms.

María Jesús Espinosa de los Monteros (38 years old, Valencia) will be the general director of PRISA Audio and will report directly to the executive president of PRISA Media, Carlos Núñez. The new platform will group together the

all PRISA Media media, both radio and press (EL PAÍS, Cinco Días, As); in Spain and in Latin America. Espinosa de los Monteros has been managing the Podium Podcast for the last five years, attached to Prisa Radio until now, and regularly collaborates in EL PAÍS. She has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Cardenal Herrera-CEU University, with a DEA (Diploma in Advanced Studies) in History, Documentation and Film Analysis from the Complutense University of Madrid.

With this decision, PRISA takes an important step towards a pioneering platform-based organization, which simplifies and makes the company's organizational structure more efficient, optimizes resources and maximizes the scope of its content with a global vision.

In the SER, the two general directorates currently existing are unified into a single one, which will be under the responsibility of Ignacio Soto, until now managing director general, who also assumes a large part of the functions performed by Daniel Gavela.

Ignacio Soto (51 years old, Bilbao) has extensive experience in media management and digital transformation and has worked in both the radio and press areas of PRISA.

Likewise, Montserrat Domínguez (57 years old, Madrid) is appointed content director of Cadena SER, a journalist with a broad and distinguished career who combines deep multi-channel experience both within the PRISA Group and in other audiovisual media, such as Antena 3 or Telecinco.

He currently coordinates the production of podcasts in EL PAÍS.

Montserrat Domínguez will also coordinate the news, antenna and program and sports directions.

Guillermo Rodríguez, news director

For his part, Guillermo Rodríguez (47 years old, Madrid) assumes the direction of news, as well as the responsibility of digital content of Cadena SER.
