WhatsApp update brings new voice messaging function - many have been waiting for it for a long time

Many users are annoyed by voice messages that are too long.

The new WhatsApp update brings a long-awaited feature that is supposed to remedy this problem.

So they asked for a feature that could speed up listening to the messages.

WhatsApp announced in March that there would be such a feature soon.

The new update of the messenger service (WhatsApp version 2.21.100) now offers the option of playing voice messages faster.

As soon as you listen to a voice message, a button appears to the right of the message with which you can change the speed.

Users can now listen to the recordings at normal, 1.5x or double speed.

This saves time and makes it possible to listen to the news even when you don't have that much time.

The new update is available for both Android and Apple users.

WhatsApp: Change in the usage guidelines caused a lot of criticism

Recently WhatsApp received a lot of criticism with regard to the new usage guidelines.

It was initially said that users who did not agree to the new terms and conditions by May 15, can no longer use the messenger.

Now the company has postponed this for a few weeks.

Only then should the functions gradually no longer be available without agreeing to the terms of use.
