All metropolitan college students will be able to return to their class as of Monday.

The Minister of Education Jean-Michel Blanquer announces this Friday on Europe 1 the end of the half-gauges from next week.

The measure was still in force in the fifteen departments most affected by the epidemic, but in recent weeks parents and teachers had expressed their concern about the risk of dropping out of school.

"Due to the improvement in the health situation, from next week, gradually, the fourth and third of these departments will be able to return to full class", announces this Friday Jean-Michel Blanquer.

The decision was made Thursday evening.

No change for high schools

"I obviously let the heads of school know this very morning", indicates the minister, who specifies that this return to normality "can be gradual".

"We must give time to the principals of colleges, to all the teams, to organize themselves," he anticipates.
