Ken Jebsen's YouTube channel is already closed, and now, according to a media report, the moderator is threatened with trouble with the protection of the constitution. His station is therefore listed as a suspected case because of disinformation.

According to a media report, the Internet broadcaster KenFM and its founder Ken Jebsen are targeted by the Berlin Office for the Protection of the Constitution.

The station is suspected of spreading disinformation and conspiracy myths and thus further radicalizing the scene of self-proclaimed lateral thinkers, according to NDR, WDR and »Süddeutscher Zeitung« as the reason.

According to the report, KenFM is listed as a so-called suspected case.

KenFM could therefore now be observed by the intelligence service, but the hurdles are very high because of the freedom of the press, which KenFM also enjoys.

There is no official confirmation of the classification.

When asked, the Berlin Interior Authority did not respond, with reference to the fact that there was basically no information on these issues, it is said.

The classification, which is said to come from March, was preceded by a month-long review.

Observation should take place because of "delegitimization of the state"

In the new right scene, Jebsen, whose real name is Kayvan Soufi-Siavash, is a prominent figure.

In his videos, he claims, among other things, that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is thinking about sterilizing people with vaccinations.

Fact checkers from »Correctiv«, among others, have already completely or partially refuted many of the statements in Jebsen's articles.

Most recently, YouTube had shut down the conspiracy narrator's channel KenFM.

Videos on the KenFM channel had violated the Covid-19 guidelines, according to the video service.

The guidelines state, among other things, that YouTube does not allow content that spreads medical misinformation about Covid-19 that contradicts medical information from the World Health Organization (WHO) or local health authorities.

The Berlin constitutional protectors justify the classification of KenFM as a suspected case according to NDR, WDR and »Süddeutscher Zeitung« as well as the meanwhile nationwide observation of the corona denier scene by the constitution protection.

The station is also accused of "delegitimizing the state that is relevant to the protection of the constitution".

The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution created this so-called collective observation object especially for the scene.

Jebsen was originally known as a journalist with his own program on the RBB, in 2011 the station dismissed him.
