Nine years of earthquake in Emilia, in Medolla a monument for the victims

A bronze sculpture entitled 'Reconciliation', designed by Lisa Buffagni, a former student of the 'Venturi' art institute in Modena.

The monument, initially designed to honor the memory of the workers who fell at the Haemotronic in Medolla, which later became in memory of all the victims of the 2012 earthquake, was placed in the garden next to the Teatro Facchini, also recovered after the damage of the earthquake and inaugurated in 2018. 

And the Rinaldi Municipal Theater in Reggiolo is reborn, in the province of Reggio Emilia

"The completion of the reconstruction of the public part and of the cultural heritage represents the last phase of a reconstruction largely completed, starting with homes, businesses, schools - says the president of Emilia-Romagna Stefano Bonaccini - It is the most complicated phase, given that these are assets that are often subject to constraints on which the Superintendencies have competence, but equally important, so much so that more and more refurbished works will be inaugurated: they are in fact symbolic spaces and places of culture, civism, identity of local communities ". The interventions on the Rinaldi Theater, divided into two sections,they are included in the plan of public works and cultural heritage of the reconstruction, and foresee a total cost of 2 million and 359 thousand euros, of which over a million of contribution from the Region. In the noble hall of the foyer, which will be used for meetings, conferences and weddings, the curtain representing the 'Triumph of Pallas' by Gianbattista Borghesi has been placed on one wall.
