A magnificent Italy in athletics takes second place in the Chorzow European Team Championship, missing the appointment with the victory, which went to Poland, by only two and a half points (181.50 against 179) at the end of two vibrant days of race.

Domination also for Desalu in the 200 meters: the sprinter from Casalmaggiore is first in the rain in 20.48 (-1.0; the second, the Spaniard Gomez, closes in 20.87). Less predictable but, for this very reason, even more beautiful,the victory of Sabbatini in the 1500 meters: Teramo chooses the head race to better control the opponents, and then places an irresistible final straight, winning in 4: 14.87. Second places for a superlative Dalia Kaddari in the 200 meters (22.89, wind +0.6, fourth Italian performance ever), Alessia Trost in the high (with the season of 1.91) and Luminosa Bogliolo in the 100 hs (13.05).
