Long months of gloomy food headlines and a real passion for some delicious seasoning in the kitchen that is our life ended - for now and without the evil eye - with the food world returning to normal.



It took another week or two of euphoria, and the plague headlines were replaced with even more bad news. Chef Hillel Tuvokoli's Animar Restaurant opens FUFU, a smoky lounge bar, "in a modern hamara atmosphere", and in a separate space from the restaurant.



Among the dishes that will be served here (currently Wednesday to Saturday), you will find squid fried in chickpea flour and turmeric, lamb neck roasted in a glass of hyssop and olive oil, as well as in Turkish stroma.

A decade of Tel Aviv activity has led the Street Owners Triangle in Ibn Gvirol to renew its design, strengthen the showcase facing the street and develop an Italian pop-up.



The temporary menu - currently defined as a sort of special-party within the regular menu of the place - draws American-Italian inspiration and sticks a stake in New Jersey.

It offers, among other things, a penzanella and caprese zucchini salad, sandwiches with corned beef and goose, a spicy "Pasta Sunday Gravy" inspired by the "good guys" and also "Chicken Parmesan, which is a chicken schnitzel with tomato, basil, mozzarella and oregano sauce.

The Jerusalem cafe yesterday reopened after a year and two months, and launches a menu with the best favorites of customers in the 27 years of operation, and of David Erlich, partner of owner Dan Goldberg, who passed away about a year ago.
