The American actor of the Tarzan series, Joe Lara, is presumed dead after a business jet crash on Saturday in the state of Tennessee, United States.
Rescuers were without hope of finding survivors on Sunday.
On social media, Rutherford County Fire & Rescue said the small plane crashed around 11 a.m. local time shortly after taking off from the airport in Smyrna, Tennessee.
He had to go to Palm Beach, Florida.
The aircraft fell in Percy Priest Lake, about twenty kilometers south of Nashville.

The Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed that seven people were on board the business jet, CNN reported.
"We are no longer looking for survivors at this point," said chief rescuer Joshua Sanders at a press conference.
"Several components of the plane as well as human remains" were discovered Sunday afternoon.
Operations continued until nightfall and are scheduled to resume on Monday.

Joe Lara, 58, had played Tarzan in the TV movie “Tarzan in Manhattan” in 1989. He had played the same character in the TV series “The Fantastic Adventures of Tarzan” in 1996 and 1997.
His wife, Gwen Shamblin Lara, was also on the business jet.
The couple were married in 2018. A mother of two from a previous union, she was the head of a Christian weight loss group, the Weigh Down Ministries.
