There are those who can not give up the geranium or Kaunas with the egg and puree on Saturday morning, there are those who prefer a huge pan of shakshuka to wipe with challah and there are the genre who prefer to open with something sweet - with pancakes or fried bread.

We’re crazy about borax, and that includes the whole genre of dough stuffed with delicious treats.

You can eat them with a salad, a vegetable platter and with hard and spicy eggs next to it.

And if you fancy a Saturday of trips, you can just pack them and take with you.

Hot, fresh and crispy borax that has just come out of the oven can easily surpass almost any chef’s dish.

Avi Bitton teaches how to make real borax from fresh pilaf dough that you make yourself and it is much less complicated than you think.

The trick is to add a little vinegar to the dough and then let it rest overnight in the fridge in oil.

So go ahead and work, the housemates will remind you of the investment in household borax long after everyone is eliminated.

Pastry borax water like in Istanbul

Anyone who has eaten the magical Turkish pastry called "Borax Water" knows that it is a delight that is unparalleled.

Crispy pastry on the outside, with soft layers on the inside like pasta, usually stuffed with lots of cheese or spinach.

The version presented here is of homemade dough known as yopka.

After opening it is half filled with cheese and half with spinach, and before it enters the oven pour into a mold a mixture of egg, cream and water.

For those who do not want to get involved in making the dough, there are shortcuts.

Jump to Greece: Burkits de Mardagena

The burkits dough that Greek Greece learned from her mother-in-law is made from thick dough rich in thick yogurt.

The dough, which is cooked in a few minutes in a pot, does not require kneading or rolling and is easy and quick to prepare.

The dough balls that are cut and flattened on the palm are filled with eggplant (Mardagena) which is lightly grilled and feta cheese and baked in the oven until browned.

Don't you want to get involved?

For this you should always keep in the freezer a package of ready-made puff pastry.

A few minutes of work and you have a whole tray of crispy golden pastry.

This time stuffed with sweet potatoes with fried onions and kashkabal which gives an excellent contrast to the sweetness of the sweet potatoes and onions.

Tomer Umansky's salty cheeses are stuffed with salty cheeses, olives and green onions.

They may not be borax by definition, but they are entirely in the stuffed dough genre any good you want to open Saturday morning with.

The big advantage - they are made from whole spelled flour.
