Corona remnants: Is it legitimate to embrace this excessive trend off the red carpet?

A new beauty trend that is gaining momentum towards this summer reminds us of the time we had to leave the house with a face mask everywhere.

On Instagram and on the red carpets fly over excessive eye makeup and abandon the lips, but is it suitable for real life as well?

For several weeks now, the Ministry of Health has approved walking around without face masks in the open, and these days there are even discussions about the decision to abolish the obligation to wear masks in general.

Despite this and despite the general feeling that the plague is behind us, when it comes to makeup and beauty trends we seem to have stayed deep during the period of closure.

Otherwise how would you explain that one of the most notable trends for this coming summer is once again focusing on the eyes, instead of flying on the lips with bright colors - after a year in which we hid the entire lower part of the face?

Thus was born a trend, which is not at all clear whether it will apply outside the red carpets, but it seems that among fashionistas it is gaining momentum.

So say hello to the abstract and colorful eyeliner.

The exaggerated eyeliner comes in a variety of shapes and colors, provided it does not stop at the end of the eye.

It can be very feline or with very prominent wings, can cover the entire eyeball or come only in the form of a stripe that settles over the eye socket, almost on the brow bone, and attaches to the eyeliner that borders the eye.

Another option is a lower eyeliner, which continues the water line below the eye itself, and connects to the regular and familiar eyeliner.

Bottom line, you can go completely crazy.

With colors, shapes and even additions like glued pearls, rhinestones or color combinations.

This trend as mentioned has been seen more and more recently on international stars, especially on photo days, in photos that come up on the Instagram torch and in glam and pompous events like red carpets, ceremonies or premieres.

We have not yet encountered it on a daily basis, and it is doubtful whether it has a right to exist on the street in the days when a face mask is no longer part of the equation.

And yet, if you have the audacity to do so, you can embrace the trend and give it a sub-validity at events like a lunch party or a light drink in the evening.

This trend has several levels.

Beginners will choose the color black and go for prominent wings in a low dose, braver can go wild with exaggerated neon colors and cross-border abstract lines.

Here are some inspirations, for the creativity among you, who are not afraid of exaggerations.
