"Wherever I go I feel the weight of the skeptical, prejudiced, disgusted, frightened glances of people on my shoulders like a boulder": these are the words of Seid Visin, 20, who took his own life yesterday. The boy was born in Ethiopia and was adopted in Italy, as a child, in Nocera Inferiore. He had helped in the youth teams of Milan together with Donnarumma and wore the Benevento shirt, he had also committed himself to Atletico Vitalica, a five-a-side football team. Some time ago - we read in the Corriere della Sera - he wrote dramatic words in a letter sent to some friends. "I am not an immigrant - we read - I was adopted as a child .. I was able to find a job that I had to leave because too many people, especially the elderly, refused to be served by me and, as if I did not already feel uncomfortable ,they also pointed to me as responsible because many young Italians can't find work ... Something has changed inside of me, as if I was ashamed of being black, as if I was afraid of being mistaken for an immigrant, as if I had to prove to people that I didn't they knew me that I was like them, that I was Italian, white. I used to make bad jokes about blacks and immigrants ... as if to point out that I wasn't one of them. But it was fear. The fear of the hatred I saw in people's eyes towards immigrants. I do not want to beg for commiseration or pain, but only to remind myself that the discomfort and suffering I am experiencing are a drop of water compared to the ocean of suffering that those who prefer to die rather than lead an existence in misery and in 'hell. Those people who risk their lives, many have already lost it, just to smell, to taste, the flavor of what we simply call 'life' "

Donnarumma's farewell to Seid, 'he was a boy like me ...'

- "I met Seid as soon as I arrived in Milan, we lived together in a boarding school, it's been a few years but I can't and I don't want to forget that incredible smile of his, that his joy of living ". Gianluigi Donnarumma, a young goalkeeper for the national football team, tells ANSA of his pain for a traveling companion lost too soon: "He was a friend, a boy like me".

Marchisio: 'Italy has failed'

- "A country that pushes a young boy to make such an extreme gesture is a country that has failed". Claudio Marchisio, a former Juve player, comments on the suicide of Seid Visin, the twenty-year-old of Ethiopian origins who after a couple of seasons in the Milan youth academy had returned to Nocera Inferiore, where he grew up after being adopted by an Italian family. "I feel disgusted looks at the color of my skin", writes the young man in a letter, anticipated by some newspapers, in which he explains the reasons for his gesture. "We suck a bit - he says - Everyone. From the center, from the right, from the left".

Patuanelli: 'I wonder if we will save ourselves from us'

- "Today everyone is rightly talking about the environment, about ecological transition to save the planet. Sometimes I wonder if we will be able to save ourselves from ourselves". The M5S head of delegation Stefano Patuanelli writes commenting on the letter written by Seid Visin, former Milan footballer who committed suicide.
