On Friday, two ex-skinheads were sentenced on appeal to eight and five years in prison for the death of Clément Méric.

A thousand anti-fascist demonstrators marched early Saturday afternoon in the streets of Paris, chanting the young man's first name.

This rally in memory of Clément Méric comes the day after the conviction on appeal of two ex-skinheads, Esteban Morillo, 28, and Samuel Dufour, 27, involved in his death.

They were sentenced to eight and five years in prison.

A less heavy sentence than at first instance, where they had been sentenced to seven and eleven years in prison.
