After the breakdown of emergency numbers, the boss of Orange soon summoned to the National Assembly

Stéphane Richard will be summoned within ten days to answer questions from deputies, according to LREM spokesperson Roland Lescure.

The boss of Orange, in the turmoil, will have to explain himself while investigations are interested in at least five deaths that occurred during this incident, including that of a 28-month-old child in Vendée.

The telephone operator Orange has launched an "in-depth" internal investigation, the conclusions of which are expected within seven days, the group announced on Friday.

Wednesday evening, the numbers 15 (Samu), 17 (police), 18 (firefighters) and 112 (single European number) were inaccessible or very difficult to access everywhere in France, forcing people to renew their call or use direct lines 10 figures put in place as a matter of urgency by the authorities.

Five suspicious deaths have been mentioned in Morbihan, Bouches-du-Rhône, Haute-Saône, Vendée, and on Reunion Island.

Among them, a 28 month old child.
