The CDU stops the ultra-right in Saxony according to the exit polls

In clear advantage with 36%. Afd second with 22.5% (ANSA)


In Germany, in Saxony-Anhalt, Reiner Haseloff's CDU has a clear advantage with 36% (+ 6.2%) according to the first exit polls disclosed by public television ARD.

The ultra-right of AFD follows the second with 22.5% (-1.8%).

The SPD loses points with 8.5% (-2.1).



The Greens got 6.5% (+ 1.3%).

Strong loss for Linke, traditionally strong in the Laender of the former GDR, with 11.1 (-5.3%).

Liberals enter the regional parliament with 6.5% (+1.6).

According to these results, Armin Laschet's feared overtaking of the ultra-right on the conservatives did not occur.
