The controversy over the Maneskin does not stop.
After the unfounded accusations of drug use by Damiano David at Eurovision, a story now closed, now the band, which won the competition last May 22 in Rotterdam, is even accused of plagiarism.
Taking the field is Joris Lissens, a member of The Vendettas group who told Dutch media RTL that the song "Zitti e Buoni", which triumphed first in Sanremo and then in Rotterdam, would have reminded him of some sounds of his hit "You want it, you've got it ".
HERE IS THE SONG
The Vendettas - RTL specifies - will not take any action against the Eurovision winners. "These guys weren't born when we had this rock band," admitted the singer, giving the Italians the benefit of the doubt. The RTL site, including the French version that picked up the news, invited readers to get an idea of the possible plagiarism by comparing the two passages.
Meanwhile, the group has decided to separate from the historic manager, Marta Donà. "We spent 4 unforgettable years full of dreams to fulfill and completed projects. I brought you here. From now on you have decided to continue without me. My heart is broken but I wish you the best of life guys", wrote Donà on Twitter. The band limited itself to announcing on social profiles: "We are working on new music and also planning on tour in Europe".
