With the first, the messages received and sent will be deleted after a period of time to choose between 24 hours or 7 days. With View Once, on the other hand, after a user has viewed the multimedia contents in a chat, they will disappear automatically and permanently.
Zuckerberg confirmed to WABetaInfo that multi-device support will not compromise end-to-end encryption, which currently protects messages between two communicating devices, via a key consisting of a common and a unique part, present on the sending smartphone and on the receiving one.
