A drunk driver drove in serpentine lines on the night of Monday on the Autobahn 7 in Baden-Württemberg.
After two dangerous overtaking maneuvers, a patrol stopped the man, the police said.
According to the information, the 44-year-old had overtaken two cars near the Oberkochen junction in the Ostalb district and turned so far to the right that they had to use the hard shoulder.
A witness then called the police.
An alcohol test showed a significantly increased value, as the officials further announced.
The man's driver's license had been confiscated.
