Support for assisted reproduction (medically assisted procreation) for all women, the opening of which is currently being debated in the National Assembly, is gaining ground among the French.
Indeed, 67% of them are in favor of female couples, according to a survey relayed this Monday by BFMTV *.
A great development since only 24% were in favor in 1990, before a shift in opinion from the mid-2000s.

This latest poll shows that men (63%) support the idea a little less than women (70%).
The 18-24 year olds are the most favorable age group (80%).
Income and education levels do not influence opinion on this issue.
People 65 and over are among the most reluctant with 49% opposition.
61% of Muslims and 56% of Protestants are against;
55% of practicing Catholics are in favor.
18-24 year olds very much in favor of surrogacy
67% of French people also support assisted reproduction for single women.
Here too, it is young people who are most in favor (82%).
Surrogacy (Surrogacy), which is not subject to the vote of parliamentarians, is however less approved within French society.
The use of a surrogate mother receives the approval of 53% of French people for same-sex couples.
59% were against it in 2014;
an inversion is therefore in progress on the subject.
The 18-24 year olds are once again the most favorable to this measure (73%).
But when it comes to heterosexual couples, the support is more massive.
66% of French people would agree with surrogacy in this case.
