Now the Tombow company is recalling three of its products - because of possible metal parts in the erasers.

The reason for this are small metal parts in the erasers that came to light during the company's quality controls.
These are explicitly the models MONO Sand ES-512A, MONO Sand & Rubber ES-510A and Display ER-98P.
Individual products that were available on the market between 2017 and 2021 are affected.
Tombow
described the danger for customers
in a press release: "In very rare cases, users may
suffer
minor injuries to the surface of the skin when they use the erasers."

Due
to the potential risk,
Tombow
, whose German headquarters are in Mörfelden-Walldorf in southern Hesse, is now calling on its customers to regularly check the erasers for externally visible metal parts that could protrude from the eraser.
The company assesses the risk as very low, but nevertheless emphasizes: "We take our responsibility for our customers very seriously and therefore point out hazards with such a low probability."
