Despite great success: Disney hit "WandaVision" should not have a second season

Marvel fans are in "Loki" fever, because the new series started in June 2021.

At the same time there is bad news about "WandaVision".

The fate of "WandaVision", however, seems to be sealed: main actress Elizabeth Olsen revealed in an interview that there will probably be no sequel - at least not in the form of a series.

published a conversation between Elizabeth Olsen and "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco in early June 2021. The actresses talk about their latest series, among other things. While Cuoco brings the fans the positive news that “The Flight Attendant” is getting a second season, Olsen is rather pessimistic about the future. When asked whether there will be a sequel to “WandaVision”, she reacts as follows: “No. No. It was definitely just a mini-series. ”Then Cuoco asked more closely, whereupon Olsen rowed back:“ Now that's what I'm going to say about it. But actually I don't know. We're talking about Marvel, so you can never say 'no' for sure. "

Since "WandaVision" is classified as a mini-series by Marvel and Disney, the shooting of a second season is unlikely.

Elizabeth Olsen doesn't seem to want to completely rule out the possibility of a sequel.
