Marvel fans are in "Loki" fever, because the new series started in June 2021.

At the same time there is bad news about "WandaVision".

June 9, 2021 is a joyful day for all Marvel movie and series lovers.

On this date the first episode of "Loki" started on Disney + *.

All other episodes will be released later this month and in July 2021.

And what about the other superhero series?

So far it is unclear whether “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” will have a second season or not.

The fate of "WandaVision", however, seems to be sealed: main actress Elizabeth Olsen revealed in an interview that there will probably be no sequel - at least not in the form of a series.

"WandaVision" on Disney +: Elizabeth Olsen comments on a possible 2nd season

The magazine

Variety

published a conversation between Elizabeth Olsen and "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco in early June 2021. The actresses talk about their latest series, among other things. While Cuoco brings the fans the positive news that “The Flight Attendant” is getting a second season, Olsen is rather pessimistic about the future. When asked whether there will be a sequel to “WandaVision”, she reacts as follows: “No. No. It was definitely just a mini-series. ”Then Cuoco asked more closely, whereupon Olsen rowed back:“ Now that's what I'm going to say about it. But actually I don't know. We're talking about Marvel, so you can never say 'no' for sure. "

Since "WandaVision" is classified as a mini-series by Marvel and Disney, the shooting of a second season is unlikely.

Elizabeth Olsen doesn't seem to want to completely rule out the possibility of a sequel.

The story of "WandaVision" continues anyway

One thing is certain: Marvel fans will see Elizabeth Olsen again as Wanda Maximoff.

She will play a leading role in the upcoming film "Doctor Strange 2".

The production is also considered a kind of continuation of "WandaVision".

So she not only reveals how Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will continue.

Fans also find out about Wanda's fate after the series finale.

The story of Olsen's character in the film may even be brought to a close - a second season of “WandaVision” would then no longer be necessary.
