(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 09 - ANSA) - TURIN, JUN 09 - A man died in his home in Piossasco, in the Turin area, after having surprised thieves.

The carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Turin and of the Company of Moncalieri are operating on the site.

Reanimated by the 118 staff for what appeared to be an illness, the man died.

Found a bundle, probably from a shot fired by the criminals following a fight with the victim, who could have been hit in the stomach.

The corpse inspection is still ongoing.
