Wine review
In terms of value for money this is a star: the Argentine who is doing school in France
The wines that come from Argentina are always significantly cheaper than most European counterparts, but this is a particularly successful package.

The winery
food
from Mendoza, which she leads, which bears her name, successfully produces excellent wines of its kind. Unlike many wines that come from Argentina and represent a winemaking of a distinct "new world", not to mention blatant, in Susan wines in his heart there is a strict adherence to significant restraint.
This is very noticeable in the four wines that participated in the current tasting - three reds and one dry white. Even the cheap base wine, intended for mass sale, does not strive to be refined and does not herald an outpouring of flavors and aromas. Add to that the fact that wines that come from Argentina are always significantly cheaper than most European counterparts, resulting in a particularly successful package.
All wines have excellent fruit, proper balance and promote a surprising character.
The base wine "Anubis", which is priced at only fifty shekels, provides no less spectacular value for money.
The other wines, whose prices range from NIS 60 to NIS 90, are also particularly strong in terms of value.
The reds can, due to their restraint and softness, be definitely sipped with great pleasure even during the summer.

Susane Balbo, Anubis, Malbec 2020
Extroverted and powerful.
Susan in his heart (Photo: Susan in his heart)
Without a few words about astringency it is impossible:
100% Malbec from vineyards around Medusa. Some of the wine was aged for several months in used oak barrels. Ruby red color. In the nose black fruit, spices and smoky touch. Medium-full body. 14% alcohol by volume.
Some? 50 shekels.
Best for:
Minute steak, kebab. Pizzas and pastas.
What the reviewer said:
Rich fruit, acidic presence and an explosive, extroverted and powerful character. All this happens without being drawn into the flattery that sometimes characterizes "new world" wines. On the contrary. It has a degree of rustic roughness that is typical of wines from a completely different genre in every parameter - those of the south of France. Wines with presence, qualities and character at this level cost 30-40 shekels more. In terms of value for money it is, therefore, an equally rare exit.
Value for money:
5/5 (rare, but real).
In nine words:
intense and extroverted red lovers? Here is your house wine.
Susane Balbo, Anubis, Crios 2019
Good acidity and significant body.
Anubis Crios by Susan at heart (Photo: Susan at heart)
Without a few words about astringency it is impossible:
100% Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards in Val de Oko, Mendoza.
40% of the wine was aged in used oak barrels.
Deep red color.
In the nose black fruit and spices.
full body.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
Some?
60 shekels.
Best for:
steaks, stale old-fashioned chunks, bones.
What the reviewer said:
Cabernet Sauvignon with good fruit, not ripe or too dense, good acidity and a significant body but not too muscular.
It is restraint that sets the tone here, and it is especially blessed.
An elegance not typical of wines at this price level.
Value for money:
4.5 / 5 (excellent).
In nine words: a
wine for sixty shekels that can easily accompany an entrecote steak.
BenMarco, Malbec 2019
Wealth and power are controlled.

Without a few words about astringency it is impossible:
100% Malbec from Los Chacais in Valais de Oko, Mendoza.
11 months in used oak barrels.
Purple red color.
In the nose red fruit and spices.
Medium-full body.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
Some?
80 shekels.
Best for:
Steaks.
What the reviewer said:
Great fruit, delicate acidity, richness and power are controlled, not erupting, and considerable elegance.
A particularly successful meat wine that will act as a respectful and uncontrollable companion.
Value for money:
4/5 (very good).
In six words:
an elegant malbak with a high gastronomic coefficient.
Susane Balbo, Anubis, Torrontes 2020
Anubis Toronto's Susan in his heart (Photo: Susan in his heart)
Without a few words about astringency it is impossible:
dry white based on Toronto grapes from vineyards in Finca La Delfina, Ballet Amora, Mendoza.
4 months aging in oak barrels.
Light golden color.
In the nose.
White fruit, citrus, flowers and spices.
Medium body.
13% alcohol by volume.
Some?
90 shekels.
Best for:
fish, seafood, chicken, lasagna.
What the reviewer said:
The delicate fruit and florals from the nose continue in the palate as well.
It is a wine that has a degree of subtle sweetness, which comes entirely from the fruit and is beautifully balanced with precise acidity.
A sharp mineral tone adds dimension and envelops everything very softly.
Grapefruit, flowers and fun airiness equate to a touch of magic in this wine, which will be more interesting to sip it again in a year.
Value for money:
4/5 (very good).
In five words:
white of food.
