(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 10 - Andrea Bocelli will be the musical protagonist of the opening ceremony of Uefa Euro 2020 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome on Friday 11 June. After having opened the Olympics in 2006 and the Expo both in Shanghai in 2010 and in Milan in 2015, the tenor will once again be the symbol of Italy in the world in a solemn and spectacular ceremony.
Symbolically accompanied by the 24 national teams, Bocellia will open the extraordinary European on the notes of "Nessun Dorma", surrounded by an exceptional scenography, with attention to every small detail, which includes the Frecce Tricolori and an explosion of colored pyrotechnic effects occupying the entire roof of the stadium.
