These are the films that were added this Thursday to the Official Selection of the 74th Cannes Film Festival, as the organizers announced in a press release.

Nine new films have been added, including “Where is Anne Frank?

In midnight screenings, night owls will be able to discover two French films: the new opus by the Larrieu brothers, with their favorite actor Mathieu Amalric, as well as the biopic dedicated to the rap group NTM, "Suprêmes" by Audrey Estrougo.
Several first films join this selection, including “My brothers and me” by French director Yohan Manca with the actors Sofian Khammes and Dali Benssalah (expected in the next James Bond), and “Mi iubita, mon amour” by Noémie Merlant, revealed in “ Portrait of the young girl on fire ”by Céline Sciamma.
In the new Cannes Premieres section, intended for experienced directors, Gaspar Noé will present “Vortex”, with the cast of the Italian master of horror Dario Argento, who inspired him a lot.

The Cannes Film Festival has yet to announce the film chosen to open Un Certain Regard and the one that will be screened at the “last screening” after the awards on July 17.
The composition of the jury, chaired by the American Spike Lee, as well as the poster for this 74th edition have not yet been revealed.
