According to the police, he was seriously but not life-threateningly injured, the police said.
Accordingly, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening at around 5:30 p.m.
Several road users reported to the police that they had driven behind a truck in the direction of Wiesbaden.
Suddenly a man fell from the trailer of the articulated lorry onto the street.
The truck driver drove on anyway.
Stopped shortly thereafter
The police said they were able to stop the truck a little later.
Four people were arrested, including a 42 and a 60-year-old man who took turns driving.
There were also two 17-year-olds in the truck's trailer.
Like the injured man, the young people are said to come from Afghanistan; they may be asylum seekers, according to the police.
