(ANSA) - NEW YORK, JUNE 09 - The Biden administration is purchasing 500 million doses of Pfizer vaccine to donate to the rest of the world. The Washington Post reports it citing some sources, according to which President Joe Biden will officially announce the purchases to the G7. According to the New York Times, the White House has reached an agreement with Pfizer and BioNtech to provide 500 million doses of the vaccine to approximately 100 countries in the next two years. The first 200 million doses will be distributed this year, the other 300 million in 2022. (ANSA).
