Today is the first of a series of meetings that the Documentation Committee of the Chamber of Deputies promotes at seventy-five years from 2 June 1946 and dedicated to the referendum that sanctioned the victory of the Republic, to the extension of the vote to women and to the election of the Constituent Assembly.
In the Sala della Lupa,
where the official results were proclaimed on the afternoon of 10 June 1946
, the historian Maurizio Ridolfi, full professor of Contemporary History at the University of Tuscia and also professor at Roma Tre, and the journalist Alessandra Sardoni will talk about the topic of institutional referendum.
The Speaker of the Chamber, Roberto Fico will speak.
The Vice President Ettore Rosato will introduce the works.
