(ANSA) - BEIJING, 11 JUN - China has approved a new law aimed at countering the sanctions imposed by other countries, while Beijing tries in every way to face the growing pressure of the United States and the EU on trade and human rights.
The countermeasures provided for by the law include "visa refusal, entry bans, expulsion and freezing of assets of individuals or companies that adhere to foreign sanctions against Chinese companies or officials". This foresees the text published by the Standing Committee of the National People's Assembly, the highest Chinese legislative body. (HANDLE).
