(ANSA) - CASTIGLIONE (TURIN), 10 JUN - Murder-suicide this evening in Castiglione Torinese, in the hinterland of the Piedmontese capital. Shortly before 10pm, the carabinieri found the body of the owner, a 70-year-old Italian and his two-year-older wife, in a house. From the first checks, the pensioner, after having shot his wife and the dog, committed suicide with a regularly reported pistol. They are working on the site to reconstruct the military episode of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Turin and of the Company of Chivasso.
The son, worried because he could not get in touch with his parents, found them at home, a small villa in via San Grato.
The woman was found dead in the kitchen, her husband in disengagement. The dog, an ungolden retriever and, next to the animal, the gun was also found dead in the kitchen. (HANDLE).
