(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, June 10 - "A breath of fresh air": this is how British Prime Minister Boris Johnson commented on the long conversation he had with American President Joe Biden.
At the end of the meeting, Johnson said that there was "a common ground of purpose" between London, Brussels and Washington to protect peace in Northern Ireland after the tensions caused by Brexit.
"All sides agree that it is important to ensure a balance with the peace process, and I am optimistic that we can do that," Johnson said.
