At first glance, the plot of "Master of None" may sound very banal: The story is about the unsuccessful actor Dev Shah (Aziz Ansari) and his normal everyday life in New York.
Since he has Indian roots, he seems to be turned down frequently for larger TV and film productions.
Dev doesn't want to let that get him down - and gradually he manages to master his career and love.
While Dev is in the foreground in the first two seasons, his girlfriend Denise (Lena Waithe) and her wife Alicia (Naomi Ackie) become the main characters of the third season.

"Master of None": Will there be a 4th season on Netflix?
The story of Denise and Alicia could well be continued in a fourth season of "Master of None".
However, Netflix has not yet commented on a sequel.
Incidentally, there are a whopping four years between the 2nd and 3rd season.
It could be a long time before a new season appears.
