Verdini's conviction confirmed on appeal

Penalty reduced to 3 years and 10 months. Former deputy was president of the CCF (ANSA)


Confirmed in the Court of Appeal in Florence a conviction for bankruptcy of the former parliamentarian Denis Verdini, with a reduction of the sentence from 4 years and 4 months of the first instance to 3 years and 10 months.

It is a crash of construction companies in which he was involved as president of the Florentine cooperative credit.

The Court confirmed the first degree sentence also for the entrepreneurs Ignazio Arnone and Marco Arnone, father and son, from Campi Bisenzio, but also in their case with a reduction of the sentence for prescription of a crime: Ignazio Arnone had 3 years (they were been 3 years and 4 months in first degree), Marco 2 years (from 2 years and 4 years).
