The ministers of National Education, Nicolás Trotta, and of Buenos Aires Health, Daniel Gollan, expressed differences of criteria to determine if face-to-face classes return in the province of Buenos Aires.

While Trotta affirmed that the virtual classes will continue in the Buenos Aires district, the same day that the decree expires with the current restrictions;

Gollan affirmed that they will wait for the numbers of the next days to define the return.

"We do not pretend that there will be any modification (in the decree) because we believe that we have found the right point between combining the right to health and the prioritization of presence. These are epidemiological data that must be sustained," said Trotta.

Speaking to radio 10, he said that "they have to change the numbers so that we can go back to school, but the numbers are clear."

The official referred to the districts of the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires continue with epidemiological alarm because they exceed 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

"The AMBA is around 700 cases. The City this week was in 1,100," he justified.

However, Gollan asked to wait until Sunday when he stated in a statement to

Radio Con Vos

that "if we manage to get below 500 (cases), we will be able to be present again, of course, always careful."

"We will know on Sunday, but since we have come in the last 14 days, the numbers are good," he emphasized.
