Work began this morning in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, on the second day of the summit of the G7 leaders under the British presidency with the presence of Prime Minister Mario Draghi for Italy.
Today there are 3 dedicated sessions - against the backdrop of the post Covid "Building Back" goal - to flexibility, foreign policy, health policy and vaccines.
With regard to the latter, the announcement tonight of a coordinated global plan to combat the upcoming pandemics was anticipated, which includes, among other things, the reduction of the time for research and development of a vaccine from 300 to 100 days.
On the sidelines of the G7, a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Mario Draghi and US President Joe Biden is scheduled for the evening. This is confirmed by Italian sources, according to which the meeting is on the agenda at 18.35 in England, 19.35 in Italy.
