"A joint effort by the whole of society and its institutions is needed to put an end to this serious violation of the rights of the child and to make the right of children to a future freely chosen by them effectively enforced. In this sense, awareness-raising initiatives planned in these days in Italy are particularly deserving ".
The Head of State Sergio Mattarella says this in a message on the occasion of the World Day against the exploitation of child labor which, the President of the Republic recalls, "coincides with the Year proclaimed by the United Nations for the elimination of child labor".
