The members of the Muslim minority from Myanmar had set sail from Bangladesh in February and were rescued by the Indian coast guard on the Andaman Islands after a machine failure, but not left on land.
Equipped with supplies, the group finally had to go back to sea.
Of the original 90 people, 9 did not survive the odyssey.
