The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella is announced on Tuesday 15 June at the inauguration of the Summer Season of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma with Verdi's Il Trovatore in the musical interpretation of maestro Daniele Gatti and directed by Lorenzo Mariani.
The head of state will be received, upon his arrival at the Circus Maximus, by the Mayor of Rome and President of the Foundation, Virginia Raggi, and by the Superintendent Carlo Fuortes.
There is expectation for the debut of this new staging of Il Trovatore which officially opens the 2021 summer season at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.
