When a small plane crashed in Rhineland-Palatinate, a person was killed on Saturday afternoon.
Another person was seriously injured in the incident near Montabaur in the Westerwaldkreis, the police said.
The details are still unclear.
The rescue and recovery measures were still ongoing, it said in a message.
Accordingly, the crash occurred in the area of a glider airfield.
