This symbol of so many tragedies in the Mediterranean Sea continues to challenge everyone's conscience and promote growth of a more solid humanity that breaks down the wall of indifference. We think that the Mediterranean has become the largest cemetery in Europe! ".

The Pope said this at the Angelus.
