Preparation
How to make a sesame bagel stuffed with cheese and peppers?
1
Prepare the dough for a bagel:
Mix flour, dry yeast and sugar in a bowl.
Make a hole in the center and pour into it one cup of water, oil and salt.
Put and add while kneading the third cup of the water, until a flexible dough is formed.
2 Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, wrap in plastic wrap and swell for about 45 minutes.
3 Meanwhile, prepare the stuffing: Finely chop the peppers and green onions, including the white part.
Mix with the cheeses and salt.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
4
Fill the bagel and bake:
On a lightly floured surface, place the puffed dough for about 2 minutes and divide into 8-6 balls.
5 Roll each ball into an elliptical (elongated) leaf and spread a row of the filling lengthwise.
Roll the leaf, fasten tightly and close the edges to form a long bagel.
6 Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt and sesame seeds.
Swell for 20 minutes.
7 Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and when the pastries have swelled and the oven is hot, put them in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden.
