A young man stole the car of a customer from a mechanic shop and starred in a tragedy: he collided head-on with another vehicle in Mendoza and three people died.
The accident was registered on Sunday afternoon on Route 86, at the height of the department of Tupungato, a few meters from the entrance to Cristo Rey.

, including its driver, identified as Jonathan Cornette Rubinstein (27), who survived and told the Police that he had taken him out of the workshop where he works, in Las Heras, without the consent of his owner.

Also in that car was Estefanía Zamponi (14), who died, and her 16-year-old sister, who had to undergo an
emergency cesarean section
because she was 36 weeks pregnant and was hospitalized.
In the Peugeot, its driver, Raul Mateluna (74), and his daughter Claudia Mateluna (39), who accompanied him along with her husband and two children, died.
A man and his daughter died in the Peugeot.
Three children were also injured by the impact and taken to the Humberto Notti pediatric hospital, according to police sources.
Cornette Rubinstein was at the disposal of the Uco Valley Traffic Prosecutor Viviana Crespillo, who in the next few hours will have to decide whether to detain him.
According to the spokesmen, they carried out a breathalyzer test and it came back negative.
