Vladimir Putin dubbed the American accusations that Russian hackers or the Moscow government were behind cyberattacks in the United States as "ridiculous".
"We have been accused of many things. From interference on elections to cyberattacks and evidence has never been produced to prove it. These are groundless accusations," Putin told NBC.
In an interview released today, two days after his first face to face with Joe Biden in Geneva, the Kremlin leader said he was open to the possibility of an exchange of prisoners between Russia and the US. "Yes, yes, of course," the Kremlin leader replied to his interviewer about a possible exchange between the two Americans detained in Russia, Paul Whelan and Trevor Reed, and some Russians in prison in the United States.
